ROUGH weekend!

Sorry I am just getting around to posting pictures from this past weekend. Saturday we had a Wedding Tea (shower) to attend. It was for men and women, so Carl and CJ (the groom) spent a lot of the time in the back bedroom watching the NFL draft. I got a few pictures of the couple opening presents but none of Baylee. Their wedding is June 7 and we are so excited for them! Sunday we pretty much hung around the house. We had a little accident so we didn't go to church as planned. Baylee was on the bed dressed and ready to go while I was getting ready. I walked into the closet just to get my shoes and when I came back out half of her body was off of the bed and there was no stopping it. She fell off of the bed and landed on her back. I think it scared her more than anything. After some tylonol and lots of lovin she was fine. We spent the rest of the day home being VERY careful with her and during naps I think I checked on her every 5-10 minutes! So needless to say, she is no longer allowed on the bed unless we are on there with her. She is a busy little bugger! She is standing on her own so well and trying her darndest to pull up. That is juice all over her outfit. Carl and I were giving her water, juice and tea from a straw. Boy she LOVED that!

Before Baylee was born The Russells from Michigan sent Baylee some PRECIOUS outfits. They have 3 sons and 2 grandsons so I think Ms. Vicki enjoyed buying clothing in PINK! One of the outfits was a MICHIGAN outfit. It is a 3-6 month outfit and it is just now warming up enough for her to wear it. I put it on her this past week for daycare. Carl told me to take it off and I said NO! I am sure I will get LOTS of flack from our LSU FAMILY AND FRIENDS but oh well. Thanks Ms. Vicki and Mr. Ray! Hope to see you guys soon!

Good day....GOOD food!

After a day at the zoo we were all starving. Aunt Kassi wanted to go eat at Cock of the Walk so that is where we went.
Carl wanted to have a pic of he and Baylee in the BIG chair...
I didn't think we would all fit but we did.....BARELY!

First trip to the ZOO!

Sunday was Baylee's very first visit to the Nashville Zoo. It was such a beautiful day! Here she is before leaving the house...
A very sweet lady named Ronda (who works with Carl) bought this LSU onesie before Baylee was born. She is just now able to wear it. Carl has been wanting me to put it on her since she was born (it is a 6/9 month)!
Sportin daddy's LSU hat.....she looks like a boy huh? I made sure she had a bow in her hair because I didn't want anyone telling me how cute my baby boy is! Baylee is still a little young to REALLY enjoy the zoo fully. However, she did love being outside!
Baylee and Daddy...he was trying to point out the monkeys.
This is the face she pretty much had the whole way through. It was too funny! I think she spotted something in this pic. Checking out the fish.... Ok so I have a short funny story to tell. Nashville Zoo recently added an Alligator exibit. They are all VERY small compared to what we are use to seeing in Louisiana. Believe it or not there aren't any alligators in TN lakes because the water is too cold. After viewing the alligators we walked around and came to the side and there were some women resting on a bench. I couldn't help but overhear one of the women say "Do Alligator's swim? I mean, can they dive down in that water if they wanted to?" Mamma and I just about peed ourselves!
Baylee and her Ne-Ne (my mom)
Baylee and Aunt Kassi (my sister) Daddy decided he wanted a picture of he and Baylee in the bamboo trees....even though the sign stated to "Stay On The Path" :)Family pic in front of the pond
Ne-Ne giving Baylee her bottleAfter 2 hours of fun she gave in and koned out. I think I was most excited about the HUGE children's play area they have at the zoo. By the time we made it to that side she had already fell asleep. Oh well...there is always next time!

YAY....I UPDATED :)

It is beginning to get harder and harder to update this blog. I have finals coming up in school on top of the regular daily duties of be a working wife and mommy :). Wednesday night my mom and sister got into TN for a visit from Louisiana. My sister is on spring break from school so after Kassi's softball team lost out of playoffs for State on Tuesday they headed up. They were both able to spend Thursday and today with Baylee while Carl and I worked.
