Shopped till they dropped!

Last weekend Alison and I did some shopping at the Outlet Mall in Lebanon, TN. It was the first time she and I both had ever been. We hit all of the baby stores and a few more. I would guess that we shopped for about 3 hours. The kiddos were EXHAUSTED when we left. Both were watching their movies in the car when they crashed. Only one weekend left to shop and I am STILL not done! EEKS

17 months or 17 years??

When we got back to TN from Louisiana we came home to a house decorated for Christmas. We are living in a pretty cramped space while the house is being built so I was a little upset about not being able to go all out and decorate for Christmas. Welp Carl's grandmaw had decorated a small 3 foot tree with lights and jingle bells...PERFECT for a 17 month old that loves BALLS. There are no more bells on the tree....just lights :)

Baylee loved taking the bells of the tree. I decided to put the loops around her ear like she was wearing earings and she got the biggest kick out of it. She had 2 or 3 on each ear at one time.

I guess the dangly earings made her want to wear heels so that is what she did. I was amazed at her "walking in heels technique".

Now, once we can shed the diaper, paci and learn to speak clearly she will be one smokin hot little lady;)

Not MUCH longer!

The Saturday after we got back to TN from Thanksgiving we rode out to the house to check out the progress. Carl had already been by the Thursday before for the "electrical walk through". Basically he told them where we wanted the outlets and any additional things we wanted added. We are having a TV mounted over the fireplace in the living room and also one mounted in our bedroom. With knowing that they will put the outlet higher on the wall. ANYWAY...I wasn't able to take off work to be there for the walk through so I was ANXIOUS to see what all had been done since I had last been out there.
The roof is on and complete, all of the plumbing is done, all of the HVAC, some of the windows have been put in and we are waiting for the weather to clear up for them to begin on the brick.
Dining room Fireplace in living room. The HUGE window beside it is actually where the door leading to the deck will beBaylee's bathroomGarden tub in master bath that I am SO excited about. The hideous green is just the film that covers it We are going back tomorrow to check things out. The weather this week has been TERRIBLE so I know not a whole lot has been done.

Babies, Babies, Babies!

The day before we were to head back home to TN we had a surprise birthday party for my grandfather (PaPa). I had really been looking forward to this day. One reason being because I was so anxious for Baylee to get to play with her other cousins that she hadn't seen since Easter. Here are all of the great-grandbabies (minus Aubree who was running around somewhere)
Baylee, Aidan, Layton and Aaden
Layton, Aaden, and B Is this not the sweetest little face? He is a BEAUTIFUL little boy. Really...when you see a picture of him he is just angelic. Here is Layton (BOY version of Baylee). It cracks me up the similarities of their personalities. They are both wild as the wind with no stopping them. He is also a paci lover like Baylee :)Baylee LOVED the boys John Deer ride on! They all were fighting over it and it was put away at one time.As yucky and nasty as it was outside, Baylee's daddy took her outside anyway to prevent a meltdown from having one TINY nap much earlier that morning. This next picture cracks me up so much! Aubree was running around outside the dog pin and it was making them (dogs) go NUTS! They were running inside the pen chasing her. PaPaw and Baylee were squatting down watching what was going on and the dogs ran right by them and splashed MUD in both their faces. I am so glad I had my camera in my hand!

Baylee meeting her twin cousins!

Ok so I am trying to get these last two posts of Thanksgiving weekend up.
Saturday after Thanksgiving my family exchanged Christmas gifts since we won't be together this year. Baylee got several Christmas movies, leggos, bath toys and clothes. Did she rack up or WHAT?Leah, Aunt Lindi (her mom) and her kids came over to visit. It was my first time to meet the twins Kami and Luke. Man oh man are they sweet! Isn't Luke precious? This isn't the best pic of me but I love these girls who are in it with me! Kam seems very bored with all of the picture taking ;)Once we took Kami out of her carseat Baylee hoped right in and started rocking. It was so funny..Check out that rocking action...Baylee and GavinCarl was sitting in the rocking chair holding Luke and I brought Kami over and sat in his lap so I could snap a pic. He looks quite comfy holding twins huh? ;)After a long day and lots of visitors it was nice to just hang out on the couch and watch TV
