18 Months

I took Baylee to see her Pediatrican on Monday for her 18 Month Well Check. She is doing well. Tubes are still in place and her ears look beautiful (says the pediatrician) and shevis growing like a week. She weighs 22 lbs 4.3 oz (19th percentile), 32 inches (65th percentile) and her head was 18 3/4 inches (78th percentile). We do not go back until she is 2 and she is done with shots until Kindergarten. PRAISE JESUS! I hate seeing her being poked and prodded.

Pee Pee in the PA-TAY!

Carl and I have been talking for a while about introducing Baylee to the potty. Sunday afternoon Baylee and I ran some errands and we stopped by Babies R Us and purchased a potty. As soon as we made it home I took it out of the box and set it up in the bathroom. Welp guess what little smarty pants did? Yep, she peed in the potty on the FIRST try! I could not believe it. I was SO proud :) She hasn't done it since so it may have just been beginners luck. I am thrilled that she isn't afraid of it and when asked if she needs to go to the potty she heads for the bathroom and grabs at her diaper. This wasn't taken at the time she tee-teed..I didn't have the camera on hand at the time :) Now if we can get rid of that DURN passy!

New Years Eve

New Years Eve Carl, Baylee and I loaded up and headed to Ray and Alison's. I had to work all day so after I made it home I threw our things together and we headed out. Carl fed Baylee super before I had made it home and I went ahead and changed her into her pj's. She took a short nap in the car on the ride over and then she was ready to PLAY. I didn't take many picture that night but I have a FUNNY video that I will try and post soon.

Ray grilled dinner and we all watched LSU and then the boys went upstairs to play X-box the rest of the night. Alison and I watched the ball drop and then we both konked out.

Alison is now 37 weeks pregnant and I can't WAIT for Averly to be born. Every time she calls me I think she is in labor :)

House update

Today we rode by the house to check out the progress. We went last Sunday afternoon but the workers were there so I could not get out and take pictures...BUMMER! We went back this morning and they had completed a little more in the past 3 days. The brick is done, the siding on the back is almost complete and they have started putting in the insulation inside the walls. The project manager called Carl yesterday and said that the drywall should be done by next week. We are waiting on the back door leading to the deck to come in. They ordered the wrong size so it didn't fit. All I can say is there is A LOT to do in the yard. It is a huge mud pit and dirt mound!

They haven't power washed the house to clean the brick of the grout. The colors are much richer than they appear. I am VERY excited about the deck. I can't wait for them to get started on it!Garage

Lost video
