A post for Pappy

Carl's dad (aka Pappy) wanted some pics of him posted with him and his grand-daugher. These were taken the day we came home from the hospital. The first few pics are the 5 generation photos. Maw, Maw Maw Dot, Mr. Jim, Carl and Baylee! Isn't that AMAZING???

This is Maw and Baylee. Maw (Baylee's GREAT GREAT-grandmother) is 92 years YOUNG! We love her to PIECES!

First Time in her BUMBO

Before bathtime last night I thought we would try Baylee out in her Bumbo seat. It was HILARIOUS! We only kept her in it to snap a couple photos. It was SO funny!

Baylee SURE loves taking her nightly baths. It's getting out, greased down with lotion, and getting dressed that she HATES! I will spare you those photos.

Ok so those of you that don't already know....Baylee seems to already be a TAD spoiled. She gets cranky each night around 6:00 and wants to be held. SO that means I get VERY little done while she is awake. Nikki suggested that I try putting her in her Jeep carrier that way it leaves my arms free and she still feels as she is being held. These pics are PRETTY bad of me due to the fact that I had my wisdom teeth cut out 3 days before. Notice the SWOLLEN jaw...ha!

Last night we tryed a new "first" for Baylee....TUMMY TIME. She wasn't to pleased with it but we know she needs to work on holding that little head up while on her belly so she can someday crawl! We can't carry her around forever. We let her lay there for about 5 minutes or less and couldn't bare it anymore. We are gonna try and work on it each night.

Maw Maw LOVES her baby!

Carl and I were fortunate enough to have his grandmother stay a few nights over the weekend to take care of Baylee after I had my wisdom teeth cut out. Here are some pics of them walking outside. Baylee LOVES outside. She and I take walks EVER evening. She can be throwing a screaming fit and the minute we walk out the door she goes completely silent!

Just a SWINGIN'

So Baylee has been enjoying her swing MUCH more now that we learned to swing her from front to back and not side to side (the swing goes both ways). On weekends we put her in it for her naps.....and BOY can she nap!

Have you EVER seen anything sweeter?

So Baylee is REALLY starting to develope her own personality. She has the most beautiful "gummy" smile I have ever seen in my life. It's hard to get a good shot of her with the full on grin. Before we know it she will be laughing out loud!
