Christmas Card shoot

On this particular day I was hoping to get some photos to use for our Christmas card. Luckily I was able to use a few. I just LOVE the first one!

Christmas Eve

So it is the day after Christmas and we are still in Louisiana. We will head back to Tennessee in the a.m. I have to say I am not jumping up and down about it. We had a GREAT Christmas, minus the stomach bug that my sister, Mamma, and myself came down with early on Christmas morning. I wanted to add some pictures from our Holiday. These are from my sisters camera.

Gatlinburg pics

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my new camera? ;) Carl and I, along with some friends of ours, headed to Gatlinburg for a night this past weekend. We took in some sights yesterday and took TONS of pics! I am thrilled with how they turned out. A few almost looks like they were photoshopped.

Long Hollow Christmas 2010

I feel so fortunate to be a very small part something so big. I love our church. This was the Christmas program that was put on last Saturday night and Sunday morning during all 3 services. If you have a chance to watch please do so. It was so moving!

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This past Sunday was the second time this winter season, technically it's still Fall, that we have had snow. Actually the past two Sunday's in a row we have gotten quite a bit. This was the first time it has stuck and accumulated. Baylee was SOOO excited when we were getting ready to go to church and she spotted the snow falling outside. All she talked about was getting home and building a snowman.
After several failed attempts by Baylee Carl grabbed the camera and snapped this. 10 years together. WOW!
After we got home from church, Baylee took a nap, and Mommy did some studying we went outside to play.
I really wasn't in the mood to go outside and freeze to death but that sweet baby was SOOOO excited I decided to just do it. I assumed that after about 10-15 minutes of it she would want to go back inside. Not the case! She would have stayed out there for hours!

We tried really hard to build a snowman but the snow just wasn't packed enough. We did  however make snow angels and had a snowball fight :)
After about about an hour or so I convinced her that it was time to go inside. Mommy was FREEZIN'! Due to  the icy roads the following morning it was around 9:30 a.m. before I was able to leave for work instead of the usual 6:30 a.m. I snapped these pictures on my way out.
A house right down the street. GO-GEOUS!
