Happy Birthday Chloe

On March 20 we attended Chloe Burch's 3rd birthday party. Her mom Robin and I work for the same company. After working together for more than a year and a half our two little girls still had never met.
Here's the birthday girl. So jealous that she is so easy to photograph. Chloe smiles every time a camera points in her direction. And then there's Baylee (insert eyes rolling).......Mommy and Baylee photo Take OneTake Two (I was holding her hands back to keep her from hiding her face)My friend, and co-worker, Alisha made Chloe's birthday cake. It turned out super cute! Alisha also made Baylee's cake last year. Click HERE to look back.I can't tell you enough how much my kid likes, no LOVES, cake. When ALL of the other kids were in the other room watching Chloe open up her birthday gifts this is what Baylee Marie was doing.......I watched her like a hawk to make sure none of her tiny fingers touched the cake. After a piece of cake she was, in her words, "ready to go bye-bye". With her not having taken a nap, I knew it was time to make a quick exit before a meltdown occurred. I love this pouty face!
2.2 seconds laterSorry I have to post these ;). Baylee announced to me and everyone else that she needed to "go poop". HAHAHAEthan, Alaina (Alisha's kids), and Baylee on the car ride home.

Welcome Spring. So glad to see ya!

We are really looking forward to the warmer months. Like everywhere else in the US, it has been a frigid winter! On this particular day we headed outside to enjoy the sunshine.
For some reason or another Baylee LOVES being in the back of Carl's truck.

Weekend in Gatlinburg

2 weeks ago Carl and I went to Gatlinburg for the weekend with friends. We left after work on Friday and made it to the cabin around 8:45 our time. We did lots of eating, and relaxing while there. It was an amazing cabin. I only wish I had taken more pictures.
Alisha and I. She was the one that planned the trip. Searched for cabins, booked it, ect. The hot tub was a big hit. Oh how bad I want one of these on our back deck! The last night there we played Taboo. So much fun!Welp that's all I got. We had so much fun but Sunday morning we headed out bright and early. We were both so anxious to get home to our angel. I don't think she missed us nearly as much as we missed her.

I will shout it from the roof tops!

I am a little fearful in saying this, because I know she could easily revert, but I think it is safe to say that Baylee is potty trained! She wears panties to school, even during nap time, with no accidents in more than a week. I am still using pull-ups/diapers during the night only because she has tee-teed a couple of times. Every morning she heads straight for her bathroom because she says "I go potty". Monday night Carl, Baylee and I went to Lowe's. I was a little nervous because I picked her up as soon as I got off work, ran by the house to get Carl without us getting out, and we went shopping with no extra clothes in case of an accident. Twice she asked to go potty while we we there. She did GREAT! SO PROUD!
