Big Girl Bed

I would like everyone to know that I have the most amazing two year old on the planet! Carl converted Baylee's crib into a toddler bed a little over a week ago. I was SOOO very nervous about this transition. Giving her the freedom to get in and out of bed as she so chooses freaked me out. Let me just tell you, for us it was CAKE! We put her to bed awake EVERY night and she sleeps 10-11 hours and wakes up calling for "Mommy and Dada" and will not get out of bed until we come into the room! HALLELUJAH! Now if potty training was this easy! I am in search for Toddler bedding that matches her room. Not such an easy task.

Mrs. Suzie Home Maker

I have been feeling the urge to do something "crafty" for the past few weeks. Carl and I have had the same small table and chairs since we got married 6 years ago. There were food stains and paint stains on the fabric and I HATE them. Last weekend Baylee and I headed to Hobby Lobby and I bought fabric and a staple gun. I am actually VERY pleased with the outcome. For $9.00 it looks like we have brand new chairs :) Now onto my next project.

Monkey Joes 8/8/2009

On this day Carl, Baylee and I met Ray and the kids at Monkey Joe's. I snapped these pictures before heading out the door. Hanging out in Mama's closet
She LOVES to play with all of my lotions, perfumes and body sprays on my vanityShe makes my heart melt!MONKEY JOE'S!

Baby Averly relaxin while the other two run WILD!

Look closely at her right eye. RJ went down a slide and Baylee did not wait for him to get out of her way. She slid on down while he was getting up and they collided. They both cried for about 1 minute and then were perfectly fine.

My favorite picture of the day. PURE joy!

Pony ride at Tractor Supply

Carl's cousin Brittney text me on this day and said there were pony rides at the Tractor Supply Store in Hendersonville. Baylee was napping so I decided once she woke up we would head over. She was THRILLED when she spotted the horses once we got out of the car but she was not too thrilled about actually getting on. It took 20 minutes or so before the young girl working was able to get Baylee on the horse. You would know my tiny baby rode the biggest horse there. Not a pony like the rest, it was a full grown horse. After a few laps around she was on her own!
It was so awesome to see her ride that big horse all on her own. She would say "geee up dorsie" and pop her tounge on the top of her mouth like she has been doing it for YEARS ;)

Miss Hollywood

One of Baylee's birthday presents was a pink purse and these VERY stylish heart shaped sunglasses. Baylee thinks she hot stuff when wearing them ;)In other news Baylee FINALLY moves up to Toddler B tomorrow at school (daycare). Know what that means? POTTY TRAINING BEGINS! We have attempted it but no success. Now that they will be doing it at school as well (where she spends 10 1/2 hours of the day) I am hoping she will get it and we can ditch the diapers!

8/01/09

On this day one of my best friends Hannnah and her little girl Annabelle came for a visit. It has been over a year since we have see each other. We really had nothing planned that day so I invited the Russell's over as well. The Daddy's went to play golf while the rest of us kept busy.
We decided to take the kids to Chik-Fil-A to play eat and play in their indoor play ground. Before we headed out the kids played in the playhouse for a bit.

Annabelle Hannah holding Averly. Alison was inside. They do not have tables set up inside the play area which to me is crazy.I love RJ's face in the next picture. He looks so excited to see Baylee. After a little while the kids started showing signs of tiredness. We decided to pack up and go to the fountain at the Streets of Indian Lake. Alison and I took the kids last summer before they could walk. I have been anxiously awaiting to take Baylee to see how she would like it. She was a little leery at first but she LOVED it!

Baylee and Annabelle

Love that sweet girlSitting back and watching all of the other kiddosAnnabelle was VERY hesitant about getting wet. Hannah kept telling her to get wet but she wouldn't run through. Finally Hannah told her "Annabelle get your hair wet" and THIS is what she did...This little girl shocked me. She kept running through the water and having the best time.

It started drizzling outside so we packed up and headed home.

Baylee LOVES giving baby A kisses.

GOOOOOOOOOO TIGERS!After the Russell's left the girls sat down in Baylee's room to watch Toy StoryI hope its not a whole year before we get to hang out again!
