The forgotten post
These pics were taken when my parents were in town for Memorial Day weekend. I posted the pics but never blogged them.
I LOVE these next few pictures!! My Daddy is a big kid when he is with Baylee and Grace...or any other child for that matter.
Baylee's sliding down on Daddy's back.
I had my camera set to snap mutilple pictures so I her in full action.

It was a short weekend but we thoroughly enjoyed every second of the time we had. Next week we will be heading to Louisiana for Baylee's 4th birthday!

Father's Day
Father's Day went a little something like this. Baylee was up at the crack of dawn, as usual, so we decided to make pancakes for Daddy before getting ready for church.
Rarely do I make pancakes so they didn't turn out that grand. Baylee and I ate the first few so at least Daddy had the ones that looked a bit better. After church Baylee wanted to build a castle..so that's just what we did.
Terrible Mom award goes to me right here. I didn't get a single picture with Baylee and her Daddy. Maybe because Daddy took a FOUR HOUR NAP. Yep that's right....4 hours! I guess he is entitled on his special day. We did head over to Marble Slab after his lovely "little" nap for some ice cream for dinner. :)
We did go on a bit of a shopping spree on Saturday. Baylee turns the big 0-4 in just 2 short weeks!! We will be heading to Louisiana this year to celebrate Dinosaur Train Style (insert eye rolling). The child is anything but deprived. However, the majority of her clothes are from last summer. Luckily she is still a skinny minny and is still wearing 24 month shorts so we were good in that department. However, her body has grown in length so all of her shirts are too short for her torso. So I mostly got her some tops and just a couple of dresses because they were too stinkin' cute to pass up! Gotta love Gymboree and Children's Place.

Forever Young
This past Wednesday was Baylee's first ever dance recital. It was held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Monday afternoon she had dress rehearsal. I left work at 1:00 thinking I would be gone for a little over an hour and would head back to work. ha...yeah right!!! I got there at 1:30 and we didn't leave until 4:20!! We were told a head of time that there would be no flash photography during the recital so I took my camera for rehearsal...a couple were taken with my phone. Most of the pictures didn't turn out so well because of the lighting.
My sweet little "spider" after I got her dressed.
Thank goodness for MawMaw. EVERYONE should have one just like her ;). She picked Baylee up from school at 12:45 and met me in Nashville with her. Here she is sitting with her watching the other girls rehearse.
On the way back to our car Baylee said "Wow Mamma, these buildings are BIG!" First time in Nashville. :)
This was taken after the actual recital. It started at 7:00 and we left during intermission at 8:45!! Poor baby was konked out!
Finally Friday!!
Today is Pajama Day at Baylee's Preschool. Last night she got her bath and we put on her pjs. It was nice to get her straight out of bed and just put on socks and shoes, brush teeth and go :). Somehow we still managed to run late this morning. That seems to be an everyday occurrence in the Brewer house.
She was also able to bring a stuffed animal and she chose Toby (also the name of my parents dog that she ADORES!)

Another photo op before church
I love when my parents are able to come to church with us during their visit. The Sunday morning that they were here I made everyone go outside to snap some pictures before heading out. Big thanks to Aunt Sister for Baylee's pretty dress. :) Seemed fitting to wear on Memorial Day weekend.
