Happy Thanksgiving
What a DAY! I am so exhausted but it was well worth my tiredness. Baylee had such a BIG day. We didn't do a whole lot but it sure feels like we did. She did lots of riding on the 4-wheeler. I wasn't too keen on the idea...and neither was she, at first. However; after her second ride she couldn't get enough. Everyone had their turn at taking her for a spin. My grandparents rode over for lunch...aka Baylee's Granny and Papa. We haven't seen them since Easter and boy has my little girl grown since then. After Granny and Papa headed home Baylee, Aunt Kassi, NeNe, PaPaw and myself headed to the Christmas tree farm. Baylee was WAY past her normal nap time but today was the only day we could have gone so we headed out. After 10 minutes......We had to wake the poor baby up once we got there. The farm had some toys for smaller kids and we all know how much little B LOVES slides! After we got back to the house and got the tree up we started on the decorations. Baylee wanted to help. Thankfully NeNe bought plastic ornaments.
We had a great Thanksgiving!

Carl, Baylee and I have made it to Louisiana. It was a LONG trip but I am so happy to be HOME. For weeks we have had plans to have family portraits made by Jami Ainsworth. Well, after an 8 hour trip home last night we got up EARLY this morning to get ready and head to Jami's for portraits. To say Baylee was tough to photograph is a complete understatement. When we went outside for family portraits she wanted nothing to do with sitting still to smile pretty for the camera. She was much more interested in chasing the kitties. Jami got some great shots and I can't wait to see them after she has added her own touches to them all. After some shots outside we headed inside to do holiday portraits. Again; she didn't want to cooperate at all but you will not be able to tell from the photographs. Jami has already posted some of the picture on her blog so click HERE to take a look. I am SOO happy with the finished product.

In just one month!
Welp we are well into our 2 month of building our new home. Carl and I have been riding by pretty often to check on the progress from week to week. It seems like it took FOREVER for the builder to break ground and get started but BOY....once they did the house seems to be building itself. The first few pictures were taken October 19. Notice all of the rocks or BOULDERS I should say. No wonder we can't grow anything here!
Now...check this out. Only a little over a month later. Carl and I took these yesterday (Nov. 23). We were AMAZED!The completion of the house can't come soon enough :)

Thanksgiving with TN family
Today we had Thanksgiving with Carl's family. Our Titans lost but we had a good time nonetheless. My poor youngin has been DYING to play outside the last couple of days so we bundled her up and let her wear herself out.
B and her cousin B -Brittney :)
Messy eater!
Saturday I gave Baylee crackers and put peanut butter on them. She thought they were delicious and made such a mess!
So much hair!
It seems that Baylee's hair started growing SO quickly once she hit around 9 months old. The other night I wanted to try and see if I could get it into a "big" ponytail.
Baylee has a new horsie...
We knew the day would one day come. Baylee thinks her dog Maddie is a horsie. She just hops on her back anytime that Maddie is lying on the couch or the floor. It really doesn't seem to faze her at all. Maddie loves any attention she can get..even if it is from the heathen child that stole all of mamma and daddy's love and affection ;)Giving her some lovin' Yes she was actually pouncing on Maddie in this next picture. Again, Maddie couldn't have cared less.
