Outside Play
These photos were taken a few weeks ago. Carl had mowed the lawn one day after he had gotten home from work. Baylee and I decided to go outside and play while he finished weed eating. She did not wear those pink John Deer boots to daycare but boy isn't she cute??There's that 1,000 watt smile I love so much!
Baby Blues!"Swing me Daddy"
Baylee is growing so fast it is almost heartbreaking. I love the sweet girl she is starting to become but I also miss the tiny baby she once was. It is bitter sweet. Her 3rd birthday is just around the corner so her Daddy and I are in the beginning stages of "planning".

Mommy's Day 2010
We didn't really have specific plans for Mother's Day. I knew I wanted it to be just us for the day.
I snapped these before heading out the door for church. I love that beautiful smile of hers. It will light up ANY dark place. Do I have the biggest forehead ever or what??? Unfortunately Baylee seems to have inherited that from her Mamma! Her future's so bright she has to wear shades! After arriving home from church.I posted this picture on Facebook. A friend of mine commented and said it looks like best friends taking a picture together. That statement is so very true. She is my best bud!
Enjoying the cool and sunny weather outside! This picture cracks me up. Who knows what she's doing here.
Cruisin' the streets!
I took these pictures a few weeks ago. It was a cool Friday afternoon and we took full advantage. Baylee loves her scooter that her Maw Maw Tez and Paw Paw Jimmie got her for her birthday last year!

Tennessee Flood 2010
We were very fortunate to not suffer any damages due to the flood. So many others that we know were not so lucky. This picture was in The Tennessean earlier this week. If you look closely you will see that the street sign reads Saundersville Road. We live on Cannons Crossing which is right off of Saundersville Road. You can click on the like to read their story. Here's an areal view of Sumner County

Hanging out with the Spears ladies!
When the softball tournament ended we headed back to NeNe and PaPaw's house because Maw Tez (Carl's Mom) was coming over to visit. I had made plans to go to Natchez to see my friend Amanda as soon as the tournament ended so it was pretty late by the time we made it over there. It had been 4 years since I had last seen Amanda so it was the first time we got to meet each others children. I must say it was so bizarre seeing each other as "Mamma's".
It was past Melaina's bed time by the time we got there and Baylee's bedtime was quickly approaching. That considered they were pretty good.
