We are back from Michigan and had a GREAT time! A big thanks to the Russell's for welcoming us into your home. We managed to see a lot during our short stay up north. On Saturday we spent the majority of the day hanging out at the house. RJ and Baylee were on different nap schedules so we didn't get to go to the beach as originally planned. We were however able to catch the LSU game. In true Louisiana fashion us southerners were all decked out in our purple and gold attire for the day ;)
Later that evening we decided to head to the Pier to see all of the boats that would be headed towards Chicago the following morning. Carl and I took TONS of photos. It truly is beautiful there.
When we first got there, there was a crowd surrounding a man with two birds (not sure the type so I won't even guess)

It is BEAUTIFUL there. charlie is a huge cubs, bears and bulls fan so we have got to go to chicago soon. Glad y'all had a good time.
