Christmas Day in the Brewer House

To say that Baylee totally racked up on Christmas is a complete understatement. "Santa" didn't go too nuts. It was the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncle's and cousins that put her completely over the top!
For some reason or another Baylee didn't have a great night. It may be due to the fact that she got in bed much later than her usual bedtime due to the family bowling night. Normally when she gets in bed late she is so exhausted that she has trouble resting. Around 12:00 (right before we all went to bed) she woke up crying. I rocked her for about 15 minutes and she was back to sleep. Around 3:45 she woke up yet again. I got up, rocked her and back to bed she went. After not resting very well during the night I assumed that she would sleep until 7:00 ish. I was wrong. She woke up crying around 6:20. Instead of wanting to get up and play she just wanted me to rock. This went on for at least 15 minutes. After getting good and awake we went into the living room to see what Santa had brought her. Santa does not wrap presents for our house. And since Baylee is still a little young to know who brought what we just put all of her big gifts by the fireplace. She was really taken back by all of the eyes that were on her when we walked into the room but she eventually came around.
Maw Maw Dot got Bay a pink Radioflyer tricycle, helmet, knee and elbow pads. Baylee will not ride her tricycle without her helmet. It is too funny! Notice the play-do in the basket? She has yet to try and open them to play with. She just thinks it is an accessory to the bike :)See the basketball goal in the background? That came from Pappy (Carl's Dad)The Giddy-Up-And-Go Pony came from NeNe and PaPaw. It went on sale back in November at Toys R Us. Everyone that reads Baylee's blog knows her love of horses. When I saw this I knew she would go absolutely nuts over it! I wasn't quite sure if she would weigh enough to actually bounce on it to make it go because she is so small. She hasn't quite gotten the steering part down but we are working on it.Love i-t!Check out those purple heels. Takes me back to when I was a little girl!To go along with the bike Baylee also got a horn. She was going around the room honking it at everyone.Poor Toby. Look at his face! It was a long 3 days for him!Helping Pappy open his giftWatching Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure Daddy had a VERY Merry Christmas. New soft wedge golf club and a Golf Buddy (GPS thingy)PaPaw's stainless steel travel mug with a picture him and Bay at ThanksgivingNeNe did pretty well for herself as well. PaPaw and Kassi surprised her with diamond necklace and matching earringsTotally surprised by her IpodWe got her the scarf, necklace and earrings. She is so easy to shop for because we pretty much like the same things.Bubba with his AE jeansCousin Hailey got Baylee a princess set. with crown, earrings, and necklace. She thought she was hot stuff!PaPaw thought it would be funny to put on Baylee's princess get-up and see what she thought about it. She did not like it very much that PaPaw was dressed up as a princess. She and Kassi were playing with her Crayola Art Easel delivered by the big man himself.
On top of all of her big items she also got LOTS of books, puzzles, MOVIES, a bowling set and clothes! We had a very Merry Christmas indeed!
