STILL ailing.....
My poor B is STILL sick! She has been on antibiotic since Monday and can't seem to kick this durn ear infection. As you will see in the pictures below, all she wants to do is be held...which to be honest doesn't bother Carl or myself one bit. Baylee has been keeping a high temperature since the weekend. We have been pumping her with Motrin every 6 hours but the fever only seems to subside for a short amount of time. I called the pediatricians office yesterday and made an appointment for this morning. I assumed they would give her a shot. Well the doctor said that her ears do look better and since she did sleep through the night that is a sign of improvement. We are traveling to Florida on Saturday for a week long vacation and I was worried about getting too far out of pocket from her pediatrician. She told me that if Baylee seems to get worse to call her and they can call in a prescription to a pharmacy there! Here are the pics of my sweet and SICK little bug.

A sick Bay-Bay.....
No pics to blog this post. We had a busy weekend. Saturday Baylee was a little fussy. I assumed it was possibly her teeth or she was just tired from all of the shopping and running around that we did that day. Sunday morning she woke up around 5:30 (yes she is quite the early riser). Around 7:00 she was fussy and I could tell she was sleepy and ready for a nap. She cried and cried for over an hour. She didn't want to be held, she didn't want me to put her down, and she didn't want to lay in her bed. FINALLY she konked out after sitting in my lap watching TV. I am not use to this behavior from her. I KNEW something was wrong with her after that. She has always been such a good baby I have never had to deal with that level of irritability. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. When she woke up from her nap she had a high temp. After a day of fussiness and was down for the night at 6 pm! That is 2 hours before her normal bed time. I figured she would wake up during the night but she slept until 6:15 this next morning. I called the doctors office first thing on Monday and she was in to see her pediatrician by 11:00. The verdict.....severe case of double ear infection. Her pediatrician said it is time that she see an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat doctor). She is scheduled for August 12 at 7:30 a.m. We are leaving for Florida on Saturday for a whole week so I hope this antibiotic that she is on knocks out the infection so we can have a great vaca!

just another night at home....
No story behind these. Just pictures of a beautiful blond haired blue eyed girl :)
WAY too many clothes....
For months I have been meaning to go through Baylee's clothes and put them together by size. As she has grown out of smaller sizes I had been putting them in a large storage bin. A month or so ago I couldn't fit another thing in it. Last Friday night I decided to pull out the bin and get all of her clothes put together by sizes. It took me THREE hours to separate them all out. I put them all in our guest bedroom until I could get a second bin. One bin alone is totally full of newborn to six month clothes! I have yet to get rid of a single thing. I know I probably should. The chances of Carl and I having another girl around the same month is Baylee is slim I am sure. All of these clothes you see are ONLY sizes from newborn to six months! I still have nine month in her closet because she is still wearing them.

Pool Party
Once we got back from Buffalo Wild Wings it was time to SWIM! RJ's neighbor gave him the coolest little pool with a slide. I was worried Baylee would be too afraid and would freak out but she LOVED it!
Sunday afternoon we packed up and headed over to Alison and Ray's house for the day. The boys had plans to play golf but it was SOOOOO hot! Instead we just hung out at their house for a while and then headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings for an early dinner.
Before we left Alison pulled out RJ's umbrella stroller. She was pushing RJ around the room. Baylee thought it looked fun so she wanted to ride as well. Alison put Baylee in RJ's lap. That lasted about 30 seconds until RJ tried pushing her off. Alison took RJ out and let Baylee ride. We thought it would be funny to let RJ push her. He kept running into the walls and the furniture :)This one cracks me up! He is so funny. RJ kept following Baylee around and making every step she made with the biggest grin on his face. Alison said it was because he wanted to head butt her but I think she is lying on him. He is MUCH too sweet to do something like that! Although, he kept scowling at her all day when she would do something he didn't like.
YUMMMMM
Saturday morning Baylee had pancakes for breakfast. Her pediatrician actually recommended whole wheat pancakes because they have lots of iron. She needs all the iron she can get since she is anemic. Anyway, she ate 2 pancakes! Although, she wasn't a fan of the syrup. She eats her them with just butter. She's a BIG EATER. I swear if she wasn't SO active she would be a little porky pig!
